This spring I needed something to wear to the wedding of our youngest son. I too did my rounds through the city. It was not easy to find something that worked for this mother of the groom.

At Second Showing Boutique we have regularly women come in on this quest for the perfect dress, while there are less and less places to try and feel an outfit before buying.

With COVID lock-downs behind us and online shopping becoming more popular then ever this is the situation we find ourselves in. Often this is a tricky business.

We hear the stories about online shopping. We order one size and we need one size up or down; The dress fit is disappointing because the garment is made for a certain body-type which turns out less flattering when we wear it.
