Change of Seasons - Seasons of Change

The month of September is here! Back to school for students and educators - back home from the cottage, lakes and summer hide-outs, diving into new projects with renewed energy. We will remember Summer 2024 in the store as the year we purchased a new software system.

Oh! - it made us realize what a creatures of habit we are. It was like changing to driving on the left side on the road. Every turn and round-about needs to be taken very consciously to avoid an accident. The advantage of making mistakes on a screen compared to ‘on the road’ is when we got stuck. There was, and always is, a way back. Creating small headaches, but without permanent damage. We are getting used to navigating the system as with every change we need to remind ourselves to give it time. Practice makes perfect and patience is a virtue (also applied to ourselves)!

I am very happy with the new online Shopify store. I like the way items are presented, and I hope you can navigate it with ease.

We are moving into Fall, and it is so much fun to see new items coming in for consignment. Seeing warmer colours, beautiful knits and woven fabrics. It is a privilege to help quality items find new homes. We are proud that as a consignment community we are able to insert another life cycle for great fashion items and make them available to you. We can get so much more efficient use out of quality clothing and accessories by taking them off the shelf and out of the bedroom closets, bringing them back on the market.
